The Motion Picture Institute is an accredited vocational film school and training program in Troy, MI. We are the first step on your FILM PATH to get a job and be a success in the film industry. Our alumni enjoy careers as directors, producers, editors, independent filmmakers, and crew positions in L.A., New York, and across the globe. Click on each of our programs below to learn more.

MPI IS AN ACCREDITED MICHIGAN FILM SCHOOL
Our accredited film school gives students practical film and digital media production skills in a one-year comprehensive, hands-on program. Every student learns screenwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, sound mixing and editing while making their own film projects using the same equipment found in professional film studios.
